On Kyle Orton…

There’s a controversy in Denver right now, you might even call it Josh McDaniels final little gift. There are two quarterbacks in Kyle Orton and Tim Tebow and this is a one QB town, so what needs to be done? The options are limited, the Broncos can trade Orton for what they believe he is worth, the Broncos can trade Orton for less than he is valued, the Broncos can bench Orton and still pay him his $8.8 million salary for the season, or the Broncos can outright release him. Either way, something must be done to solve the problem. But why, why can’t Denver keep both quarterbacks? Let’s take a look at the situation…

Really, San Diego? Really?

So, I guess San Diego thinks Eric Weddle is pretty good? I would certainly hope so, since they decided to pay him like he’s the greatest safety to ever play the game. This move has already been reamed on Twitter by a lot of people, and I am hard pressed to find someone who thinks the Chargers are not overpaying this clown, so it’s been a little bit of a schadenfreude afternoon for non-Charger fans. Now I’m not going to lie, I love seeing my division rivals potentially throw their money away, but let’s take a look at why Weddle is maybe worth this kind of money…
